PRN Laboratory Assistant - Histology - (Fort Myers) in Fort Myers, Florida For Sale

$12.880 per hour This is a system PRN position. The Histology lab assistant will be working in a clinical setting with body tissues and samples. The Clinical Laboratory Assistant I is responsible for a variety of clinical and clerical functions to support the day-to-day operations of the Clinical Laboratory depending on the shift and facility location. Clinical duties include specimen verification and processing,, sample tracking including the cancellation and crediting of laboratory tests, and processing of send out testing. Clerical duties include phone reception, printing and distributing reports, operation of office equipment such as fax machines, copy machines, and printers, in addition to basic computer skills in the Laboratory information system. Requirements: Education: High School diploma or equivalent Experience: Training: License: None Required Other: Good communication and interpersonal skills required.
