Job Description:
- High school diploma or GED required Specifically the OR Technician position functions in the surgical scrub role for operative and invasive procedures and performs all related duties as assigned, may assist in circulating duties under RN supervision. Will assists circulator in room set up and breakdown to include gathering of specialty equipment and returning it to proper storage area. Assists with and will be responsible for the restocking of the operating rooms, sub-sterile areas. * Candidate must be a graduate of an accredited Surgical Technologist program. * Is certification eligible or holds a National certification. * Experience in acute care or outpatient operating room setting preferred. * Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association required.
