RN/CVR SEASONAL Department: CVRU Schedule: seasonal full-time Shift: Day Hours: 7a-7p with/every other weekend Job Details: - 2 years of formal education beyond HS or Associates degree NCH Healthcare System is happy to announce their xxxx-xxxx seasonal nursing opportunities! A seasonal nurse works during periods of peak volume from 3-6 month agreements. Nurses come from all over to spend their winter in Beautiful Naples Florida. Agreements may include housing, completion bonus or eligibility of full seasonal benefits, depending on the length of agreement. The Registered Nurse independently plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care in patient care situations using standards of care and policy and procedure. Provides direct nursing care to patients. Assumes teaching and leadership responsibilities. Participates in unit committee and quality improvement activities. Needs minimal supervision. Patient assessment: use of full data base lab results and progress notes. * Minimum of 1 year of ICU or Cardiovascular recovery experience required. * Licensed as aRegistered Nurse in the State of Florida * Current certification in Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers from the American Heart Association. and currentACLS certification. * Training in hemodynamic monitoring and management, complex IV Drip Titration, and vent management also required. * This position is scheduled to start October and is for approximately 6mos.
