(US01) Location: INC- Naples, FL (US08) Main Objective: The SAP Basis Architect has a strategic role in helping develop the technical architecture for the SAP eco-system and an executable roadmap structured to best support Arthrex and GIS goals. The role will assist in maintaining established technology standards and consult on projects to promote alignment with the strategy and standards. As a thought leader, the SAP Basis Architect will, also, understand industry trends and help introduce newer and appropriate technology to maximize business benefits. Additionally, the role will possess hands on experience creating architecture design documents; forming and maintaining roadmaps; conducting gap analysis; and designing, developing and providing solutions, and has a rich background in modern IT infrastructure, supporting an SAP eco-system with multiple applications like ECC, GTS, HCM, BW, Solution Manager, etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and maintain current state conceptual and logical architecture documentation Contributes to the development of technology standards and their ongoing revisions Help maintain the target architecture based on business architecture roadmaps Consult on IT projects when enterprise standards don't exist or are not meeting business needs Helps with the assessment of new technology and how they can be effectively introduced to the SAP eco-system Participate in the optimization and ongoing operation of the architecture governance process Applies standard SAP principles, concepts and techniques in system installation, user administration, managing system access, monitoring performance and problem diagnosis and resolution Demonstrates excellent tactical approaches that also reflect the strategic perspective. Administers all aspects of the SAP eco-system, which may include system installation, upgrades and application of patches Performs system refreshes; participates in the scheduling of refreshes as requested. Monitors and tunes performance and workflow. Manages the SAP system landscape, including the Transport Management System and troubleshooting. Performs systems maintenance, printer configuration, and upgrades as needed, including backups and restores MS SQL Server administration experience is an asset. Solution Manager configuration with LMDB/LVSM, Change Control ChaRM MUST and transports of copies. Project creation, business blue prints, realization, final preparation, and go live support. Communicates with internal users and teams to fix issues. Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree required preferably in Computer Science or related field preferred, commensurate experience will be considered Advanced degrees and certifications a plus 12 years relevant experience required Experience administering SAP Security, creating and roles and roadmap to analyze user needs is a plus Experience with SAP HANA a plus Experience managing SAP systems on virtual or cloud infrastructure Experience with VISIO diagrams with technical design specification document for flow diagrams. Knowledge and Skill Requirements/Specialized Courses and/or Training: Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation Solid understanding of relational database theory preferred, including familiarity with MS SQL database structures; solid understanding of programming concepts, including familiarity with SQL programming. Strong process, procedures, architecture and systems documentation skills. Database experience with Microsoft SQL Server and/or Oracle Expertise with data extraction and transfer tool, such as SAP TDMS and equivalent products. Expertise with automation of routine tasks, using scripting tools or products such as SAP LVM. Machine, Tools, and/or Equipment Skills: PC servers, workstations and laptops. Microsoft environment.
